Forms Library
The "Forms Library" feature allows the export and import of .json files to facilitate the management of grids connected to Essbase. It consists of two main parts:
1. File Import
The export function allows you to save a grid connected to Essbase in .json format. Follow these steps :
- Select a sheet containing a grid connected to Essbase.
- Click on the "Download Form" button.
- A .json file will then be downloaded locally to your device.
2. File Import
The import function allows you to restore a grid, its formatting, and its connection to Essbase from a .json file. Follow these steps :
Click on the "Upload and Import JSON" button.
A window will open, allowing you to select a .json file from your device.
Once the file is selected :
- A new sheet is created in your workbook.
- The data and formatting are automatically applied to the new sheet.
- Merged cells are also recognized and applied to the new grid.
- A refresh is performed to establish the connection with Essbase on the new grid.
